Welland Rose Festival - Transit Service Changes Friday, June 19 to Sunday, June 21, 2026
Days in the Park
Friday, June 19 at 8 a.m. through Sunday, June 21 at 6 p.m.
- King Street will be closed between Griffith Street and Division Street all weekend
- Buses will begin detours at the start of service each day
Rose Parade Detours
Sunday, June 21
King Street is closed from Ontario Road to East Main Street at Hellems Avenue for the Rose Festival Parade. All Welland routes are on detour beginning at the start of service until after the parade cleanup, approximately 4 p.m.
Terminal Schedule Change
All Welland routes depart the terminal every hour on the hour starting at 10 a.m. This continues until detours are cleared and regular service resumes, expected around 4 p.m.
Route 501
Outbound: Hellems Avenue, Plymouth Road, Ontario Road, Prince Charles Drive South, Lincoln Street, Denistoun Street, then regular route
Return: Plymouth Road, Lincoln Street, Burgar Street, Welland Terminal
Route 502
Outbound: River Road, Woodlawn Road, Niagara Street south, Merritt Street, Fitch Street, then regular route
Return: Niagara Street, Woodlawn Road, River Road, Welland Terminal
Route 503
Outbound: River Road, Woodlawn Road, Niagara Street south, Merritt Street, Fitch Street, then regular route
Return: Niagara Street, Woodlawn Road, River Road, Welland Terminal
Route 504
Outbound: River Road, Woodlawn Road, Niagara Street south, Merritt Street, Fitch Street, then regular route

Outbound: River Road, Woodlawn Road, Niagara Street south, Elgin Street, Shotwell Street, Merritt Street, then loop back to Niagara Street north
Return: Niagara Street, Woodlawn Road, River Road, Welland Terminal
